El final de una época. Chris Evans se puso por última vez el traje de Capitán América, personaje al que ha interpretado para Marvel durante casi una década. El actor compartió en su cuenta de Twitter un conmovedor video con el que anuncia su despedida del superhéroe.
“Oficialmente terminamos Avengers 4. Fue un día emotivo, por decir lo menos. Interpretar este papel en los últimos 8 años ha sido un honor”, redactó en la red social.
Avengers 4 estrenará en mayo del 2019. Según declaró Chris Evans en el 2017, él quería concluir el ciclo con su personaje después de terminar de rodar la tercera entrega, sin embargo, Marvel decidió hacerla en dos partes.
“Dijeron que tenían tantos otros personajes para encajar: Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant Man, y no pudieron meterlos a todos en una sola película».
Por el momento, Marvel no ha declarado si buscarán un sustituto o si será el final definitivo de Capitán América.
