Tal es la cosa que un caballo tiene un equipo de abogados y ya demandó a su ex propietario y está pidiendo 100,000 dólares en compensación por los maltratos. Los abogados dicen que la cantidad de dinero es para el cuidado y tratamiento del equino.
Gwendolyn Vercher de 51 años dejó al caballo al aire libre en invierno y el animal tuvo una infección en la piel, congelamiento y estaba desnutrido. Un vecino alzó la voz y llevaron al animal al veterinario. El doctor habló de los maltratos y al poco tiempo una fundación se llevó al caballo.
Se le hizo un nuevo examen médico y se descubrió que también tenía piojos y una bacteria. En el 2017 Vercher se declaró culpable por negligencia y dijo que iba a pagar los daños, pero no lo hizo, así que fue demandada oficialmente y le están pidiendo 100,000 dólares en daños. El juicio sigue en pie y todavía no se llega a un dictamen.
